Itinerary description
This trail follows the right side of the Rusenski Lom river in the World Heritage site of Ivanovo. This is a magical and beautiful landscape. Typical visit here is only to the Ivanovo Monastery just next to the parking in the left side of the river. However, we followed the trail on the other side where you can visit the lonely and much less visited churches. You have to coss a bridge next to a rest area and then follow a trail to the right. In the trail several post signs indicate the name of the different churches which you can reach following some smaller and hidden paths to reach the churches trhough some stais and some easy climbing (some of them are closed but you can see them from the gates). We visited Archangel St, Michel, The Baptistery, The God's gap, and St. Theodor.
