Itinerary description

It has been 3 years (since the outbreak of the Corona Virus) that I have been waiting for this hike and reach the Seceda point view.
We left the car in Parkgarage Seceda at Ortisei town and took the funicular to Seceda Furnes 2 (it is the first stop).
We started the hike on our left and followed trail 05.
It is gonna be an ascent all the way for 3.8 km till Refugio Malga Brogles.
The place is simply amazing and the ascent is pleasant.
Walking in the woods with a small river along most of the trail and awesome views.
The Dolomites are simply impressive.
The Hut is still closed. It won't be open till the beginning of July.
For our surprise, trail 6 to Pana Scharte is closed. This happens when there is risk of rock falling. I could have decided to ignore it and just continue but after our last adventure I didn't want to put my friends in danger again.
We had another option. Go back down to the first stop of the funicular and take it up to Seceda. This is what we did.
The price of the funicular ticket from Ortisei to the top (Seceda) is 37 Euros both ways.
Once arrived at the top, I couldn't wait to reach the Seceda view point and get my shot. If you want a better view of the top of the mountains, you better be in the morning. I was lucky with the view and took some awesome time-lapses too.
We walked around, had a bottle of wine on the grass. You just forget yourself upthere but we had to take the funicular down to the town. It closes at 17h00.

I will definitely go back and do the whole loop again.
Note that we walked 11km and not 15 km. Our ride in the funicular from stop 1 till stop 2 the top, back and forth is 4 km.

I would consider it an easy to moderate hike. If trail 6 was open it would have been a hard ascend to the top.

Enjoy and keep it clean !!!

PS: Respect Nature and stay on the trail.
