Itinerary description
Loop trail from Federa Vecia to the Sorapis Lake on trail no 217.
Trail is 217 is pretty steep in the last 2.5km.
After seeing the lake you head to Rifugio Vandelli and go back down on trail no 215.
Trail 215 is extremely busy and there a couple of sections with iron cables and steps.
You should avoid the trail if you have never hiked before.
After 4km you turn right for Valbona and then follow a small section of 209 and back to Federa Vecia.
Early morning start is highly recommended. Proper hiking attire (walking poles, boots, etc). Plenty water and snacks although food is available at Rifugio Vandelli.
