Itinerary description
Israel Trail Day 42 Makhtesh Ramon to Gevanim. A few notes: anyone following this trail probably won't choose to start where I did -- about 9km from Mitspe. We got off the trail "early" last time because we were short on water. You'd probably want to either stop at Meizad Mehmal or continue to Mitspe. At Mitspe instead of following the Israel Trail to the Field School, I followed the route in Jacob Saar's book and took the green trail down from the promenade, which cuts a few km off of the day's journey.
