Nearest railway station: Karjat, Central Railway & also Panvel (Harbour & Trans-Harbour Railway)
Base Village: Irshalwadi
Height: 567m (till Nedhe)
Duration: 5-7 Hours
Total Distance: 11 km
Approx. expenses: 28 rs (2 way Bus ticket from Karjat to Chowk bus stop)

Endurance: Medium
Risk Factor: Medium

Route: Karjat-Chowk bus stop-Chowk railway station-Nanivali-Irshalwadi-Irshalgad Nedhe & back via same route

How to reach:
Take a train to Karjat if you are travelling by Central railway or to Panvel if travelling by Harbour railway and board a bus to Chowk bus stop (Sharing Tum-tums ply from Karjat for 15 or 20 rs/seat).

Description: The route starts from Chowk bus stop on Panvel-Karjat road, crosses Chowk railway station, onto the Morbe Dam road and passes through Nanivali village before climbing on to the ridge to Irshalwadi (base village).
Take a left from Irshalwadi, cross a stream and a small temple and then look for a uphill diversion to the right which climbs on to the Irshalgad ridge and reaches the base of the pinnacle. The route to Nedhe goes from the left of the base and a medium grade rock patch & rickety vertical ladder takes you to the Nedhe.
Follow the same route for descent.

Food and Water: Available at Karjat & in villager’s home in Irshalwadi

Very useful contribution and info as well. For first timers, climbing to Nedhe can get a little tricky and hence I 'll recommend hiring a guide from Irshalwadi to help with climbing and descending. Caution should be exercised while climbing from the Nedhe to the base of the pinnacle and stunts on top of the Nedhe should be strictly avoided.
