Ascent to one of the most emblematic peaks in the north of Ireland, Slieve League (601 m), from where one of the highest cliffs in Europe lowered: Bunglass. A fantastic route, with spectacular views, both to the ocean and inland.
Start from the Cunniltragh car park, where the platform with a panoramic view of the Bunglass is located, and return along the Pilgrims Path ('pilgrims' way'), to the town of Teelin, to do the circular route. From Teelin to the Cunniltragh car park (last section of the route), take a tertiary road (about 2-3 km).
Anyone who wants can do the roundtrip route (avoiding the return via Pilgrims Path), a more common alternative that saves some time.
The itinerary followed avoids crossing the One Man's Pass, a famous vertiginous section along the ledge, with a fall on both sides.
The most complicated area of the ascent is a rocky area located about 25 minutes from the top, which sometimes requires resting your hands on the rock to advance, although no climbing or climbing. Crossing this section takes 20-30 minutes, which can be complicated, like the entire route in general, on rainy days (muddy ground and slippery stone) or with fog, which can generate location problems.
