Near the popular Glencar Waterfall, Devil's Chimney Waterfall at nearly 500ft, about 152m, is the highest waterfall in Ireland.

From the three viewpoints you can see all its magnificence.

There is a new man-made trail that leads through the scenic forest that will take you to the crest of the waterfall, and the trip will take about an hour, depending on your motivation and physical ability.

Despite its size, water can stop flowing in times of drought, which are certainly rare.
