The Assaranca Waterfall is located near the small town of Ardara in County Donegal, which has a population of less than 1,000.
Clearly visible from the road leading out of town towards the Maghera Caves and the beach, fall is the ideal place to cool your heels and enjoy the view, if only for a few minutes.
The cascading fall from the surrounding rocky forest looks like an oil painting by an old master.
