⛰️ Irau Via Corybas

⚐ Sea Level : 2,110 meter

🪧 Trail Information:
➼ Located at Cameron Highland, Pahang
➼ Difficulty: Moderate 6/10
➼ Out and back hiking 17 km+- in 12 hours.
➼ Permit and Guide are compulsory.
➼ Mount Irau is 9th highest mountain (G9) in Peninsular Malaysia.
➼ There will be 6 checkpoint (CP) before summit.
➼ You will pass through 5 rivers from trailhead to CP1, one of which is relatively large and may get your shoes wet.

📖 Note:
▶ Whether : Sunny🔆
▶ Can park your car at Hikers Paradise Kampug MTD, RM15/car with cold water shower and toilet.
▶ Please bring min 2 liter of water and lunch.
▶ Since the mountain was just opened, many trees fell along the way.
▶ It's slippery all the way, so be careful.
▶ The whole trail will go up and down all the time, there will be no feeling of going all the way up or all the way down.
▶ There will be corybas plants along this route and we were lucky enough to see one just blooming.
▶ There will be beautiful mossy forests along the way.
▶ There will be mud in some sections.
▶ There were many cicadas along the way.
