Itinerary description
This is a short walk from the village to the string of old windmills on the ridge to the southwest. It's a steep climb on good paths, passing the old schoolhouse that's now the town hall. Only one of the windmills has been restored, while the others are ruins. The restored mill did not appear to be open to the public. In fact, it looks as if it might be occupied as a residence, albeit one with tiny windows. The route returning to the upper end of the village is rather rough at the top. It ends at a bakery and supermarket.
