Itinerary description
A trip down into the gorge across from the winery, out near Raches, and back by road.
I would not hike this trail after dark or in the rain. There’s some steep scrambles and at least one place where I was happy for the rope that was there.
I don’t think you need to be an experienced mountaineer for this trail, but you should be more than a casual hiker and have some comfort with heights and exposure.
I didn’t realize the map took us back by the road, but was probably a good thing at that point. Plenty of water and great swimming in the gorge and could go all the way to Nas if you want.
