Itinerary description
Hiked for the first time this recommended path to the peak, from the beginning a bit confused with rare sticks, later visible and good signed, although steep especially on the way down - not recommended when there is a frost, could be slippery. Very nice views around to Hengill, Hekla & Krósá... Very recommended. This is track of my descent, but ascent was the same way.
