Itinerary description
The walk begins in Clapham. This is one of the three Yorkshire Peaks Ingleborough at 723m. On the walk which can be demanding in places, you will come across the Grotto, Ingleborough Cave, Throw Gill gorge and Gaping Gill. Please note, on the way down check your bearings as the path back to Gaping Gill turns right off the main path into open scrub just before a wall stile. Head back towards the woodland area. The New Inn hotel in Clapham is an excellent stopping point.
