On our way by car to Mount Bromo Tengger National Park we make a stop to visit the Madakaripura waterfall which is located in Sapih village, Lombang district, East Java. Madakaripura is a sacred area, including the waterfalls that reach a height of 200 meters.
To access the beginning of the trail, our driver leaves the vehicle in a parking lot where there are some drivers with motorcycles who will take us a couple of kilometers to where the trail begins. At the beginning we come across a small temple that we cross and begin to walk along the edge of the bottom of the ravine, next to the river and we ascend through a very wooded and beautiful area. Upon reaching some small buildings in ruins, we prepare to cross and walk through the river with suitable footwear and continue to approach the final section where you must wear waterproof clothing as the waterfalls literally fall on you. After passing various waterfalls, we reach the final step that requires a short easy climb to reach a huge cavity into which the main waterfall falls, at the base of which there is a small waterfall in which some take the opportunity to take a bath.

Muchas gracias

Gracias Paco DV.
