Itinerary description
Inca Jungle Trail, alternative trek to the Classic Inca Trail. We did it on February 7-9 2009 since the classic trail was closed.
We did it without a guide but I would not recommend the Santa Maria to Santa Teresa leg without a guide although with this GPS trail and with the help of some locals, it may proove easier.
I lot the signal for most of the trek between the Hydroelectrica and Aguas Calientes but you cannot get lost there, just follow the railway track.
