Itinerary description
Nice walk through the surrounding mountains of Imlil. Start of in the centre of the village and follow the track uphill. There might be a slightly easier path uphill once we left the main road. Just go around the corner of the street (approximately 150m further uphill where we went back). Both pathways join further uphill.
The trip passes halfway through the upper village Imlil-cascade. It's easy to feel that you get lost in all the small streets of the village, but impossible to really do so. Just follow the force of gravity and you will find your way out or otherwise ask one of the kind villagers where to go if you get stuck.
In the decent further down back to Imlil you follow the traditional donkey trail and pass by the beautiful cascade.
A lovely place to relax, get yourself a nice tagline dish and a drinks. The atmosphere cosy, wonderful and refreshing as the temperature is significantly lower due to the massive amounts of water flowing down.
Afterwards the path back to the village is more than obvious and takes about 15 minutes to get back into the centre of the village.
Don't forget to bring sufficient water as the temperatures might get quite hot during the middle of the day and you don't want to get dehydrated.
