Imerovígli - Skaros - Oía

The most famous and popular trail on the island of Santorini. The one presented here starts from Imerovigli and not from Fira (as it is often the case). This way I could combine it with visiting also the chapel of Panagia Theofilakti at Skaros Rock without making it too long.
The starting point is at the parking spot at Imerovigli. First, you move west up and down towards Skaros. Then, as you return you make a left turn at the monument and start going north until you exit Imerovigli. You mové next to the cliff for the Kosta part of the trail, passing through luxurious resorts and little chapels. At times I deviated a bit from the path (from Agios Antonios until Profitis Ilias) to enjoy the view. There is no clear trail there, so maybe you should follow the dirt road instead. There is no water along the route, so, during summer make sure to have 1 lt per person. Overall, the trail. is not demanding. After the last chapel above foinikia, it will take you about 30 min till the end point. I marked also the bus station outside Oia on the trail in case you want to return by bus.
