solo backpacking ... I did it there and back ... but there is a chance to get boat for one way. 2 days

Thanks for posting. Boats are great but only summer time. I did this in dog sledge on the way back (spring)

The path is well marked with orange. There is a wooden gateway over the most difficult ford. There is 3 others fords that could be difficult to pass depending to snow conditions and quantity of water.
But it was ok for us.
7 hours and half from center Ilulissat to Oqaatsut.
In Oqaatsut there is a small shop closing at 5 pm where you can buy food. Also at least one restaurant and one hotel.
During summer, boat twice a day toward Ilulissat ( northgreenlandadventure.com)

genial, wahrscheinlich einer der schönsten trails der welt - riesige eisberge schwimmen vorbei und wale pusten ihre fontainen. während 8stündiger wanderung in der hochsaison 4 menschen getroffen. aber einige falle im sommer: aufgeweichter boden überall, weg wird manchmal zum fluss, einer ist nur springend über diverse steine zu überqueren. für „amateure“ machbar, aber danach waren wir auch platt…
