Beautiful trail, pretty tough because of the length (it took us about 8.5 hours with a long stop on the top). The top of the Brocken isn't so special but the overall scenery of the route was beautiful. The only downside was that more than half of the trail on the way back consisted of road-wide concrete slabs.
