Dugi Otok, also known as Long Island, is located off the coast of central Dalmatia. We can reach Dugi Otok from Zadar by ferry. The journey takes about an hour and a half.
Telascica Natural Park is located southeast of Dugi Otok Island. They include the bay of Telascica, the six islets inside and 13 other islands and islets outside.
The main attractions are Lake Mir, the Stene and Grpaskac cliffs and the Skrača area.
Lake Mir is a salt lake located in the southern part of the park, separated from the sea by a narrow strip of land. This lake was formed after the last glaciation as seawater seeped through the numerous micro-cracks in the karst terrain. Even today the sea currents in the lake can be seen when the tide rises. Due to evaporation its salinity is higher than that of the open sea.
The cliffs of Stene and Grpaskac are located on the outside of the bay, from Mrzlovica Head to Veli Peak.
Skrača, south of Lake Mir and by the sea, is one of the most curious points of interest in the park, due to the numerous geological phenomena that are concentrated there. Here we can observe rock formations produced by the effect and force of waves and wind for long periods of time. In recent years, some of the visitors to this place have been building small sculptures with the laminar stones found in this area, creating a very unique landscape.

Muy buena ruta. El lago salado, con mucha gente, el resto muy poco transitado a pesar de ser un domingo de agosto.
