After the Mount of Beatitudes we continue towards the Church of the Loaves and Fishes, which commemorates the multiplication of the loaves and fish by Jesus. The Lord tells the apostles to feed the crowd and they tell him that they only have 5 loaves and 2 fish. The Lord takes them and performs the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish and 5,000 people who were listening to his preaching on that mountain ate.

An important fact is that this church maintains the original mosaics from the 4th century on the floor.

It is also noteworthy that under the altar is the stone where, according to tradition, Jesus performed the miracle of multiplying the 5 loaves and 2 fish that were on that rock.

Also in front of the altar, on the floor mosaic, the primitive symbol of the Eucharist is drawn: the five loaves and the two fish, but in the basket there are only four loaves, to indicate that the fifth is the Eucharist that is on the altar. .
