Itinerary description
The initial part of this leg is rerouted and starts starts with a road walk on the highway, then bear right onto dirt roads - appr. 20 km in total from Clark Fork to the Trailhead. From the Trailhead there’s an ascent up to the hillside which provides spectacular views to the Lake Pend Oreille in the west. A little further there will also be gorgeous views to the east.
