Itinerary description
A leg on really nice trails - up and down on the Bitterroot ridge with amazing panoramic views. As you walk the ridges you get to look down at the pristine lakes below the ridgeline. NB: Be aware of the trailjunction at Cascade Pass, and take the “new” trail slightly to the left (My digital maps and paper maps showed the old trail and I decided to backtrack). After a good distance on the wonderful Stateline Trail, you’ll continue on the Stateline Road for a while - Nice walk in the woods with some good views.
