Itinerary description
The trail first drops you down to the Selway River and the Moose Creek Guard Station and landing Strip. Note that finding the trail down can be challenging as it’s really brushy.
I took an alternate to the original ICT and went along the Moose Creek, then forked off to the North Fork of Moose Creek. The scenic diversity of this leg was really pleasant; along the creeks, up on the hillside with some good views, and then the lush green woods.
