Itinerary description

This leg starts with a pleasant hike on dirt roads along the meadows. You’ll be passing couple of other campgrounds before you get to the Lola Creek Campground. From there the trail goes along Marsh Creek, then along the Middle Fork of the Salmon River for the rest of the day. The trails are very well maintained, and the scenery is beautiful. Side creeks will make sure that you have sufficient water. There are more water sources than I have tagged, so there is no need to carry a lot. Today’s leg end at the Hotsprings right after the Big Soldier Mountains. In the summer season, be prepared to share the campsites with groups of rafters. Make sure you get a good soak:)
