Itinerary description

From the stateline you’ll hike on dirt- and gravel road all the way past Murphy Hot Springs. There are some nice camp spots along the East Fork of the Jarbidge River. For a little while you will continue along the Jarbidge River on a single track trail, then there will be a steap climb up to the rim of the Canyon. The hike down in the Canyon is green and beautiful. The rest of the segment continues on dirt roads on top of the plateau which will provide views to the Jarbidge Mountains.

From here you can either drop down into the Canyon and the Murphy Hot Springs - and follow the river for a while. Or you can hike the road at the rim. The first option will give you access to water.
