Holey Tree

This is a tree that fell over a long time ago which became hollow. All of it has crumbled away except at the base where a new shoot grew and is now a tree itself.

Service Road

Nature trail is broken up in 2 loops. The first loop is .7 miles which you have to take part of to get to the second loop which is 2 miles. You have to cross the service road to get from one loop to the other. The map they handed out does not show this service road so it was confusing when I ended up on it a second time in the same exact place. We went down the service road instead of crossing it again like we should have to do the second half of the first loop.

Road

The service road dead ended onto another service road that goes by what a map calls "Shelter Site" for staff. This road leads you back to the parking lot.
