Itinerary description
This hike will take you from the pavilion/picnic area through the youth camp and then across the road and up the white mountain trail. The trail up the mountain can be a little steep, but it is worth it. Once up on mountain and then going to the other side you will have a beautiful view of the Connecticut River valley. The hike will then take you down to the river and then back on the road to almost the original parking area (I got tired out after the mountain). This is the high side of the park, so be prepared for that. It seems at times that mountain bikers use the mountain trail, so watch for them! Hurd falls is pretty hard to get to, but you may want to give it a try. Happy trails to all!
