Itinerary description

Big climb from Wee Jasper Road up and over Mt. Wee Jasper.

In some areas the track was almost overgrown and only by very careful observation was it possible to follow the track in places. It needs a clean out crew through with a chainsaw to remove dead trees blocking the track and encroaching shrubs. Needs more signage.

Logbridge Creek Campsite is a disaster. Long drop dunny is OK, but shelter shed has been demolished by a falling tree branch.

I went a few hundred metres more than I should have. I should have stopped before leaving the logging road. I stopped the GPS tracker and walked back to the road and then another 1km or so to where I parked the car.

A better finish point would be about 2km from where I finished. -35.170443, 148.598419 is where the H&H meets Log Bridge Creek Road. Log Bridge Creek Road is a gravel road suitable for a 2 wheel drive car.
