The reef off Belize is the largest reef system in the world after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
It stretches over 250 km from the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula to Honduras. A special feature of the reef is the unique natural monument - Great Blue Hole - about 70 km east of the capital Belize. Along the reef, about 450 small coral islands rise out of the water, the so-called "Cayes".
On such a small island, a tropical paradise we are now "stranded" here. It's the same as imagining a deserted Robinson Island in the middle of the ocean. Dazzling white sand, water that shines in all the blues of the world, shady palms that gently sway in the wind.
This Caribbean dream room - "Bacardi Feeling".
