Itinerary description
Howth is small heaven for walkers. There's a wide choice of looped walking routes suitable for all levels of fitness. Amazing views over cliff tops and a spectacular panaroma of Dublin bay.
If you are in Dublin and you have a half-day free, take the train to Howth (30 min-journey, 6.15 euros return ticket). This beautiful village is worth the visit. Let your feet go wherever they want. You cant be lost. All trails are connected. Do not try to get out of trails near the cliffs! It can be really dangerous.

Very beautiful scenery all over the whole trail. Easy for all levels; I walked this trail with friends who are not avid hikers and they did really enjoy it. We finished our hike with local street food (fish and chips as recommended by locals) that we ate on a bench along the bay. Amazing way to spend a half-day if you are in Dublin!

Thanks for sharing! We are from Basque Country, love the mountains and paths, and this is an awesome one, over all the last part between threes and darkness.
Best regards man!!
