"Akagi-goe" section of Kumano Kodo (pilgrimage route to the Wakayama region, Japan).
There are coaches that take you to the starting point (Hosshimnon Oji) from Kii Tanabe.
Hosshimnon Oji is a small temple (rather an oratory) lost on the road without any other building or service. This section ends in the small town of Yunomine Onsen where there are thermal baths.
We had left in the morning of Kyoto and we made this route in the afternoon to get to spend the night in a Ryokan of Yunomine Onsen.
The experience of taking a thermal bath in the Japanese style is worth the trouble. In Yunomine there is a small and picturesque public bath establishment, but practically all the Ryokan's of the population have their own facilities.
