Simple and pleasant route in the high plains of Horton. One of the best known routes in Sri Lanka, accessible to all levels.
On the road that gives access to the natural park, a mandatory stop must be made to pay the entry permit that is around 4200 LKR per person.
Once the parking is reached, just follow the indications. In the access control they will check the backpack and ask that the labels of the plastic bottles be left.
From there, after advancing a few hundred meters, we find a crossing that allows us to choose between two routes: World's End - Baker Falls (left) or Baker Falls - World's End (right). In general it is recommended to go to the left, especially if you arrive early, to have more chances that the fog does not cover the views in World's End. We opted to go to the right, mainly because the day was cloudy and we had no hope of seeing anything.
As you can see in the photos, we really enjoyed fantastic views of the fog. However, the trek is worth it because the road is very beautiful, but also a little busy.
