Itinerary description

Very busy with people, kids, and dogs on nice mid-August Sunday afternoon, but understandably popular; majority of excellent walk parallels textbook rapidly flowing stream with white water and Coke bottle blue pools (may have been atypical high water volume secondary to big snowpack from previous winter). Falls are one on the nicest on Hood. Had to scramble over rockslide to get to falls at the end, but easy walk otherwise. Tried to find Trail 640B to make a loop walk, but trail may be lost to time.
