Itinerary description
A pleasant hike of approx. 4 hours on generally well surfaced tracks/roads.
-Start almost opposite the Hotel Hollerather Hof
-Route goes down eventually past the fishing ponds on the EifelSchleife 3-Bäche turn right at
bottom along past the Oberprether Muhle
-Continue alongside the Prether Bach till you arrive at the junction of 2 streams & the
Udenpreth Dragon's Teeth.
-Turn up the hill and follow road up to Miescheid and past the church.
-Continue till you spot a bus shelter on the right at a road junction.
-Take the Grenzstrasse past the bus stop and on to the the main B-265 road
-Cross almost directly on to a path next to the Meischeiderheide sign (this point is critical as it is at an opening on the protective fence)
-Follow this path through the forest and after 500m take a grassy track which goes straight
when the good path goes slightly left
-Continue down to the main track then follow GPS till you eventually arrive at the
Narzissenroute
-Turn right up the hill till you arrive at the Hollerather Knie Monument
-Follow road out through carpark etc etc & back to Hollerather Hof
-Start almost opposite the Hotel Hollerather Hof
