Itinerary description
One day trip to the top of one of the nearby mountains. We decided to do it from different side (clockwise) than other trails shared here on wikiloc and instead of going to Fjall, we came back to the starting point in Hólar.
The path is relatively easy but marked only to the bridge. After we passed it we followed sheep/horse tracks to the W / SW side. As it was getting late we shortened our way back going down sooner than it's shown on other tracks on this site (it was rather muddy though) and then just followed cart track along the river back to the bridge and marked trail.
The trip took us about 9 hours 24 minutes with all the little beaks for photos, clothing, looking at map, etc.
