The bus leaves us at the Gifkommetjie car park. We start with a gentle descent until we reach the coast (Bloubergstrand) and we will coast until we reach the Cape of Good Hope. Along the way we found bone remains of a whale, a number of elands (antelopes) and ostriches, with the latter there was a tense moment when we were forced to pass between them and their young, fortunately there were no incidents.
Before reaching the Cape we had a couple of kms. by road that was very long for us. Upon arrival we found a queue of tourists to take a photo on the sign, they had arrived in cars, that's what happens when there are roads.
An important climb until we reached the parking lot where our bus was waiting for us, with impressive views.
