Itinerary description
A 3-hour hike in Hockley Valley Provincial Park. We did this hike on 2020.11.8, when the weather was unusually warm; the leaves had already fallen from all the trees, so there were no interesting colors, but the walk was pleasant nonetheless. The trail has lots of ups and downs, mostly fairly gentle.
Adding the Snell loop increases the length by about 2.8 km, for a total of about 13 km.
The parking lot had only one free spot when we arrived at 2pm; many cars were parked along the shoulder of the road (presumably the parking lot had been full when they arrived). It took us about 1 hour 15 minutes to drive from central Toronto, a bit more to drive back (the traffic was heavy).
