Itinerary description
Followed the path marked by others. Couple of notes:
I walked in late Winter, when snow was melting. Last bit, normally a dirt road, had turned into an impassible stream. Had to back track and take the path marked as shortcut. Same river as the one near starting point. You can gauge the flow of water there before you begin. Should be fine in warmer months. If you do cross, you will hit the main road in 100m and can follow it back to your starting point.
Definitely bring water resistant shoes for winter. A few wet patches.
This path was originally marked as yellow path by Hindiba Lodge. The markings were taken down by municipality but after about a quarter of the way in, they remain and work quite well.
There are some low hanging thorny branches on certain sections. Advisable to wear long sleeves on all seasons. You can probably get away with shorts though, not a lot of undergrowth.
I walked at a very leisurely pace. Lovely scenery. Even if you are not staying at Hindiba, stop for a few drinks at the end. They are nice people ;)
