Hello ! We tried to take that route in May 2021 but we do not recommend it at all : we cannot walk via the "old way" but have to take the main street and walk on the route, with plenty of cars. Going through the bush was horrible : high herbs, insects, hard to see the path, going down to the beach with scratches on the legs and arms, not knowing what we are walking on... Really, take the "normal route" down to the beach and do not try to walk from Jale !
