Itinerary description
3 days tour in the Zillertal, starting from Mayrhofen. Day 1 with the bus to Ginzling and climbing to the Greizer Hutte (4 hours walking). On day 2 to the Kasseler hutte (5 and a half hours). On day 3 to the Edel hutte (siebenschneidensteig - 8 and a half hours - only for well-trained people who are not afraid from height). On day 4 in the morning back to Mayrhofen (using the cable-lift which is 1 hour walking from the hut). Fast 3 Stunden in den höheren Gebirgsregionen unterwegs zu sein ist schon eine gewaltige Herausforderung für mutige Wanderer. Proviant und Ausrüstung müssen stimmen und auch die passenden Klamotten müssten für alle Gegebenheiten griffbereit sein (bei Ulla Popken unter http://www.ullapopken.at/ gibt’s übrigens schicke Steppjacken in großen Größen). Respekt vor dieser Leistung!
