Itinerary description

Hiking - Lower Antelope Canyon.
Slot canyons were, and still are, carved by water streams into the sandstone. These abound in the US Southwest although most can't be visited.
Near Page, AZ, within the Navajo Nation, the Antelope Canyon is open to guided group visits. Advance booking is suggested but tickets can also be bought directly on-site although not recommended as the first available tour might require hours of waiting.
This site offers two possible tours: Upper or Lower canyons. We took the Lower, as it seems it's more dramatic although classified as "moderate" (some stairs) vs. the "easy" Upper one.
The place is absolutely amazing.
Groups size is probably about 50-60 persons led by a guide, therefore it's very likely that there will be people framed in your photos.
Special photographic tours are also available for smaller groups and a higher fee.

Tips:
WARNING:
Flash floods kill too many and tours may be canceled in case of potential dangers.
