Itinerary description
What a wonderful adventure and Experience. Longest ever Hiking Adventure of 25.11 KM. Started at 7 AM from Nathiagali Starting point with bunch of friends. Total trip time around 12 hours. enjoyed at lot.
First achievement was Miranjani Top covering 4.5 KM in around 3 hours.
Miranjani is the highest peak in Galyat Region which is located at the elevation of 2,992 metres (9,816 ft), in Abbottabad District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Province of Pakistan. It is located in the Namli Maira area, in Ayubia National Park, 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Islamabad in the western Himalayan range
Then started trekking towards Dagra Bangla. Firstly we had to descend and then track is 8KM with little up downs. It may take 1.5 h to 3 hours to reach Dargi Bangla depending on your pace. Land mark of Dargi Bangla is just 100 meter before site.
it is located on old track adjacent to Mirajani which connects Nathia Gali to Thandiani. Along the track lies this British-era forest rest house, called Dagri Bangla by the locals. The location of the building, in the middle of thick forest, colonial style of construction and remoteness give it an aura of mystery. Very Sadly building is dilapidated and not usable as can be seen in pictures. Lovely lush green views along track, birds chirping, calm and cool environment. few adventurous hiker may be spotted on track. NO food and water available on track, so arrange sufficient eatery and water. few nature lovers do camping at Dagri Bangla that is really fun and adventurous.
it took around 5 hours to reach back at starting point of track at Nathiagali.
Lot of excitement, enjoyment, physical exertion.

We would like to do this hike this weekend. Can you please guide me as we will arrive from Islamabad. How much time it will take to reach there? Where is the starting point, is it in nathia gali? Is there any car parking and is it safe to park car in that place? Thanks
90 KM from Islamabad to Nathiagali Miranjani track staring point. It takes around 2 to 3 hours to reach starting point depending on yr driving speed.
Forest office is at starting point. The staff guides you. U can request them for car parking and offer some tip and they will. It is safe.
If you have plan to.go to Miranjani Top. It is 4.5 KM and 2 to 3 hours depending on yr speed. If u want to go to Dagri Bangla, then 10-12 hours two way from starting point and back. We started at 7 am and came back 7.30 pm.
We had many pauses on track and enjoyed a lot.
MOST IMPORTANT, keep sufficient water and eateries with u, some basic medicines, bandage.
Miranjani to Dagri Bangla around 8 km but much easier than previous track(starting point to Miranjani)
