Itinerary description

Quite an easy hike to this place. I just wish there were more hiking trails. I had to stay on tarmac for a lot of it. But an impressive canyon for sure. Looking 1 km down to a river is mesmerizing.

On the way up, I was trying (and thinking) to find a trail that went along the ridge all the way to Curevac but this did not exist as the only option was the dirt road. So just follow the trail I was originally on which goes directly to the dirt road.

You will notice that I struggled a bit on the way back trying to find a trail (and avoid the road) back to Žabljak. I only ended in farmlands so just stay on the tarmac road to get back.

Many people told me you needed a car to get here (when most likely these same people hiked 20 kms to get to Bobotov Kuk and back). This is too easy compared to hiking in the mountains to decide to get here by car/taxi. To each its own.
