Itinerary description
This is hike to Gorakhgad fort, near Murbad region. The hike starts from base village Dehri.
The trail has a gradual initial climb till the temple at the base of the pinnacle. From there, trail is a steep rocky climb that takes you to caves. From caves another difficult rocky patch having weathered off rock steps takes you to the topmost point that has a temple. The trail offers great views of neighboring mountains like Macchindragad, Siddhagad and Ahupe ghat.

Easy to navigate, easy till the base of pinnacle. Climbing the pinnacle - first level is easy, second difficult, and last level very difficult.
Thanks for the comment. The last level is indeed very difficult. And due to weathering of rocks, that level is getting even more difficult after every passing year. I remember hiking the same in 2007 when the last level wasn't very difficult then, despite doing it in monsoon.
