Bermejo
Bermejo is less than a village, but it does have a nice soccer field. Electricity arrived in the year 2008 AD. The few restaurants serve fried chicken. There are a few little shops. And that's it. The surroundings are magnificent though, making it a worthy stop between Santa Cruz and Samaipata. Stay at Ginger's Paradise, Laguna Volcan or Refugio Volcanes. You know you're in Bermejo when you see a giant red rock, with a domed opening in it, known as 'La Ventana del Diablo', the Devil's Window. - Bermejo is less than a village, but it does have a nice soccer field.
