Itinerary description
Bijli Mahadev is an easy hike in Kullu region of Himachal Pradesh. The summit has temple of Lord Shiva, named Bijli Mahadev.
The hike starts from village Chansari. Chansari can be reached by taxis or local buses plying from Kullu.
The hike is easy with gradual ascend. The trail is clear and well paved for most of the way. The trail is surrounded with trees of apple, apricot, peaches etc. Summit provides excellent 360 degrees view of the surrounding.
Camping in tents is also possible on the top.
The summit has several cafes and shops where hot food, tea, water etc are available. They also arrange tents.
