Itinerary description
Don't make the same mistake as I did!
TLDR: Don't try to make a loop like I tried. Don't go beyond the view of the valley. Head back the way you came.
I parked the car at the starting point on my hike. When I arrived at my destination (waypoint with "View of Valbona valley" photo), I thought it would be smart to walk back to the car around the mountain, completing the loop, instead of walking back as I came. Judging from Google Maps and the terrain it seemed feasible and shorter.....
This turned out to be a bad decision. The trail kept going lower and moving away from the mountain (and my car). I tried to get closer to the mountain and "followed" a dangerous "path" hugging the rock face. It got sketchier and eventually too sketchy for me, so I deciced to walk back the way I came.
