Itinerary description
Hiking trail part of a two-day hike. Starting in Lobbericht, following the Maas-Niederrheinpath (stage 12). It was a very nice hike along the Nettel and some lovely lakes. Most of the trail is off-road. You walk through forests, heaths, and some farmland.
You can stop in Brüggen for lunch or drinks. Also, in Herberg De Bos, close to Swalmen. However, I would advise you to take lunch with you. The hike is not difficult.
I pitched my tent at Camping Natuurplezier. Next to the campsite, there is a nice restaurant where you can have drinks and dinner.
