Itinerary description
On this one way hike you get into cloud forest (no permit required) and then on a high altitude path with great views at the surrounding mountains. After you pass the deserted village Las Casillas you descend in (maybe hot) open space between large cactuses.
To do this hike take bus 947 from San Andres to Las Bodegas. Check the timetable first. In the weekend the bus runs at a decent time. From Las Bodegas to Igueste follow the PR5, marked with yellow white. In Igueste you take the bus to return to San Andres.
